Why Did I Want Boys?
So, I'm sitting here attempting to do my homework (there's only a week and a half left in this quarter and I'm behind since we spent so much time at the hospital) when I hear Hunter scream, "Ooh, icky spider!" Great! So, I turn around and there's this big spider running across my kitchen floor. Tanner, meanwhile, is trying to pick it up between his thumb and index finger. So, I move with my Spiderman like skills and simultaneously pick up Tanner while stomping on the little beast. Well Hunter, in an attempt to save his Mother from mental anguish, decides to stomp on the spider at the same time. So, my poor flip flop endowed foot ends up smashed by my son's monstrous feet (which seem a lot bigger, P.S., when they're coming down on top of your own). And do you know what he yells as he's demolishing my foot?! "Oh yeah, GOT IT!" Yeah, you got something alright, buddy. Oh, the joys of motherhood. I'd like to point out that I wished for this. I wanted boys! Whatever.

I think that is so funny. I*'m sorry about your hurt foot but at least you both saved Tanner from eating a spider. Yuk!
heh heh that's a great story! Glad he had your interest in mind though!
Neither Joey or I like spiders, so the likelyhood of either one of us killing them is rare. At least Hunter is helpful & recognizes your fear. Sounds like Tanner isn't really afraid of anything. A least he didn't eat it - gross!
