My Kids Just Don't Understand Me

Okay, so I've been really sick for almost a month. I had this respiratory thing for about two weeks, was better for maybe two days, and then got it back again, only worse. I think I picked something horrid up in the hospital too because now I have this awful cough that I can't get rid of. I just cough and cough and cough pretty much all day and night. Well, Hunter's decided that he doesn't like it. For a couple of days, every time I would have a coughing fit, he'd yell, "What happened, Mom?!" I'd repeatedly tell him it was nothing, just a cough. So instead, for the past two days, every time I cough he yells out, "Stop it, Mommy!" I laugh every time (which only makes my coughing worse) and tell him that I can't stop it. He gives me this look of disgust, raises his eyebrows and says, "YES. Stop it." He seriously acts like I'm doing it on purpose to bother him and gives the parental face of pending consequences if I continue to push him. And kids think parents don't have a clue. Ah well, at least I remain forever entertained by my children.
