Anyway, my little brother Joey, his wife Sarah, and their new little baby, Kennady came too (overlapping with my parents). They left this evening. Hunter tried to go with them. Not without his favorite toys, but still, he wanted to go. This was my first time seeing Kennady and I'm in love. We've bonded and I'm pretty sure I'm her favorite aunt. Therefore, no attempts by any of my sisters to steal her affection will do any good whatsoever. I'm just saying is all. She couldn't even possibly weigh six pounds yet and let me just say, I've never had a baby that little.....I grow monsters.....so I just find her precious. AND it makes me want a girl, which I'm pretty sure I'll never get, so maybe this visit wasn't that helpful for me at all.:)Wednesday, June 25, 2008
We love visitors!
My Mom & Dad and little sister Katie came to visit for a few days last weekend. We were so excited! I don't see my family nearly as often as I'd like and so it was good to have them here. Hunter couldn't wait for Grandma and Grandpa Walker and Katie to get here. As a matter of fact, he keeps asking me where they are. What a cutey. We did a lot of fishing and swimming (as you can see in the posts below) and even tried our hands at frisbee golf. It was a quick visit, but a much appreciated one. (P.S., I know you're all wondering why you again see the flower couches in the photos below, but it's because we have to fix a couple of things on that couch before putting the cover on.....so please quit thinking I had a change of heart and reverted back to the 90's.....I swear I didn't). And yes, your assumptions about the first picture are correct. My kid has no manners. He also likes to pitch incredibly large fits, which is why he's plugging his ears in the second one. This is his way of demonstrating that he's not going to listen to a word I say.

I love the picture of Hunter walking all over Grandpa. And the tantrum photo where he is covering his ears reminds me of Trish covering her eyes. :)
