Two Month Stats

So, I took Haylee in for her two month check-up yesterday afternoon. Let me just say, the girl's huge!! I'm not sure what's happening, but my genes aren't getting passed on to my children. She was around the 10th percentile in height and weight when we left the hospital and at her 10-day check-up. You know, tiny, precious, little thing. Well.....not any more.....which I kind of suspected, but in certain instances, I just don't like to be right. Anyway, new stats:

Height: 24" (Umm, yeah, she grew 5 1/2 inches!!)
Weight: 11 lbs. 10.5 oz.

So, now she's in the 70th percentile for her weight and the 90th for her height. All of my children CANNOT look like monsters next to me before they're 10 years old. It's just not right.

Oh, and we also discovered that Haylee actually does have a healthy set of lungs. Just poke her with a needle and she'll show you. I didn't even know she was capable of screaming until yesterday.....she's always so quiet.
Everything else looks good. She's growing like a weed, but I guess that's what happens. She's very smiley and likes to "talk" a lot.....especially to the lights. She loves talking to the picture of Christ on the wall, which warms my heart. Hunter did that too. It's so cute. She looks for Him and then starts smiling and "talking" to Him. Very adorable. She can already hold her head and chest off of the floor when you lay her on her tummy, so she's a strong one. At least there's some muscle to go with all of that weight.:) Anyway, she's just such a delight to have around. We sure love our little Haylee.

Yummy pictures Honey! I love her! Hey, anyone else from the mission that you keep in contact with?

I love her little cheeks, she is such a doll. Kyla was always up there in the 80-90's but she is slowing way down and has been in the 50's for quite some time. There is still hope that your genes will pull through:)

This makes me smile! She's as big as Kennady was at her 6 month check up =] Too cute! Can't wait to see her again!

It just cracks me up that you're going to have this family of ginormous children and their teeny, tiny mom.

You know they'll all be wrassling around the house (and because you're country folk, you'll say "wrassling") and then little Mom will just have to glare and it'll whip 'em all right into shape.
