Well, I can't say that there's been a whole lot going on out of the ordinary. We're mainly just adjusting to being a family of five, instead of four. I'm pretty sure that no one finds this difficult, except for me. I don't have enough hands any more, and actually, I think Hunter and Tanner have realized this and fully take advantage of the situation. They would. Anyway, so updates.

Hunter: He's still in love with little Haylee. Almost too much so.....I can't get him to leave her alone. He has to hold her hand and kiss her ALL DAY, whether she's sleeping or not. He also calls her 'pretty girl' all day long. This has been happening, but now he calls ME 'pretty girl' too. Whatever, it's better than when he used to tell me he hated me, I guess. He's getting pretty tall too. He's about to have to switch into 4T pants because his 3T's are practically highwaters. I swear I just bought those pants. He hasn't even had ample enough opportunity to wear them out. Bonus for me, I suppose. He's also turning into a real little basketball superstar. Kyle had to raise his hoop several notches and he still swishes them like crazy. He has to play every night before bed. (Tanner can actually make them too, but he uses a lot lighter ball.) Anyway, he talks non-stop all day, which is actually entertaining, so I can't complain about that. He still refuses to potty train and I can tell Tanner's about ready to learn, so this could get interesting. And since he's starting to outgrow his diapers, I guess he's going to have to learn real quick. He's informed me that the store will make him bigger diapers, but I assured him it wasn't going to happen. He also got to attend his first Primary Activity the other day. He had a blast and is now forcing me to bake cookies so he can wear his newly created apron. I went to pick him up and wouldn't you know it, he was sitting in a group with the 10 and 11 year old girls. Just them and Hunter. He calls them his friend girls. Anyhow, he definitely has Kyle's genes, that's for sure. He's going to be nothing but trouble. Anyway, we sure love our little guy.....even when he is about as difficult as can be.
Does Hunter look like his cousin Kennady or what? He looks more like her than Tanner!

Tanner: He's a brut. What else can I say? This kid is covered from head to toe in bruises (and has been for the last year). Kyle and I were laughing about the fact that we haven't seen him without a bruise in the center of his forehead since he was about a year old. The doctor used to question me about it, but I think she's realized we have a little maniac on our hands. Shocker, it's not like he tries to hide it when we're in public or anything. In contrast to this, he seems to be our kid that gets sick constantly. Right now he has a terrible virus (that Hunter and Haylee are getting), but his turned into ear infections in both ears. Great. So, he's pretty miserable and whiney. As a bonus, he loves his medicine (which I remember being the most disgusting thing ever), so I guess that's good. He's starting to demolish Hunter. If anyone remembers their history, Hunter totally deserves this, but I do have to contain the situation. Tanner can knock him down with just one arm. I can't even imagine these boys as teenagers. Anyway, Tanner is boy #2 with a huge listening problem, so he spends a lot of time in his crib. This was working for me until yesterday. He started climbing out of his crib, onto the boys' dressers, and then onto the top bunk bed. I had to actually move his dresser (my Mom's brilliant idea) to keep him contained during his naptime. I don't know how I live through the day sometimes. Anyway, aside from all of this, he still does like to cuddle with his Mommy, which I just love. I mean, I practically can't pick him up any more, but we work it out.:) And if I let him watch hunting videos, he'll sit pretty still, so I guess we have a system.

Haylee: She's an angel so far, thank goodness for that. I'd never live otherwise. She's still mistaken about when she's supposed to sleep in long stretches. This leaves me time to get things done during the day, which is nice, but gives me no sleep. What else is new? Anyway, the doctor was worried because she lost so much weight in the hospital (they put me on pain killers for my kidney stone that pretty much knocked her out too, so she wouldn't eat). Anyway, she's passed her birth weight now, so they're happy. She was over 8 lbs. last week. I'm already having to switch her out of the newborn clothes into the 0-3 month ones. Big surprise in this family! She's starting to be more alert, which I love. She already lifts her head (she thought she was able to do this since she was born and would attempt it all the time!) She's pretty good at it now and lifts it up to look at me. Melts a Mom's heart. She has this really cute fish face that she makes all of the time for some reason. She just puts her cute little mouth into an 'o' shape and leaves it like that. I've had trouble getting it on film, but I finally got it. Anyway, I think she's going to end up blonde haired and blue eyed after all. So much for having one with my coloring. And the bigger she gets, the more she looks like an even mix of Hunter and Tanner. Don't worry, it's a good mix. She's so pretty. Sometimes people mix horrible, but Haylee is not a casualty of that sort of thing.:) Anyway, I just love cuddling her and staring at her. I finally got my girl! And she's a sweetheart!

Oh Breezy she is so beautiful. I love the pictures. The first one where she is awake resembles Evan some. I can also see both boys in her. I was hoping since she was carrying on the Anna name that she would look like all the rest of us. Brown hair and brown eyes. No such luck Huh!!
What cute kids you have! Tanner is so tall now! He's almost as tall as Hunter - I can't even believe it!! Haylee is sooo cute! I just love all of her little outfits & I love her "o" face. Hunter & Kennady really do look a lot alike. I catch her making some of the same faces that he does.
I went back to look at the kids of course you and Kyle too and when I looiked at that picture of Kyle and the boys I knew I'd seen that smile before so I went back and look a a lot of Tanner and his smile is like his Uncle George's.
Cute Bri! I still can't believe you have 3 kids!!! Sheesh! Where has time gone? I need to catch up, but not too quickly! ha ha
I loved this post about your kids! They all have such personalities. It's gotta be fun to watch everyday. On that note, I don't know how the heck you do it! You've gotta be super woman at least! 3 kids in 3 years, WOW! Hats off to you! :) And, hopefully Tanner will potty train and embarrass Hunter into it! hehe! It's crazy that when kids set their mind to something, they can stick to it. I hope for your sake you get 2 potty trained and only have to change 1 set of diapers!
the stories of your boys make me laugh-never a dull moment at the Huwe house huh! I hope Haylee can handle them-good thing Hunter is so in love with her-that should help!
I am having a Modbe party. Friday march 20th 5-7 pm Check out the info. on my blog. hope you can come
She is so adorable! I bet it's fun to have all the pink around for a change. I'm sorry your kids are sick. I'm so sad that Matthew has RSV. I feel like a terrible Mom. Nathan was never sick like this as a baby, but I guess it's more likely to happen when they have older siblings who get sick with who knows what from who knows where. Hope you get more sleep soon. She is beautiful!! and that part came from you. :)
