Haylee's Blessing Day

Ever since Haylee was born, I've had this nagging (a good kind of nagging) feeling that there was something really special about her. She just has this sweet, angelic, mild spirit about her. When she was a day or two old, one of the nurses came in to check on us. She said she loved the name Haylee and had always wanted a girl so she could use it, but had five boys instead, and then asked if I knew what the name meant. "Ummm, no." (I never check the meanings of names, just not my thing generally). She said, "It means 'hero within.'" I was thinking what a coincidence that was because I already felt like she was going to bring about miracles in her own life and in her family's. Anyway, Kyle gave her a beautiful blessing and I think the blessing confirmed everything I was feeling about her. So, we've been blessed with a little angel in our household. She's a wonderful little girl and I feel so blessed just having her around. I'm grateful for Haylee and the wonderufl things she'll do and be in this life. I'm also grateful for my two boys. I've been blessed with three incredible children and I'm in awe that my Father in Heaven would entrust them to me. Anyway, it was a great day. How blessed we are!!
