Rapunzel and Her Confused Brothers

There once was a little princess born with so much hair, that her mother had to part it very early on to keep it out of her face. This wouldn't have been bad, in and of itself, but the said hair couldn't be managed. It stuck up ever which way.....whenever it felt like it. Who has to use product in the hair of a newborn? (Very shortly it will be me, that's who). Luckily, the princess was so beautiful that it didn't really matter. Crazy hair or not, she was a charmer.
The said princess' charms worked quickly on her older brothers who adored her every move. (And it's not like they could complain about the hair, since theirs was the same, if not worse, at one stage....) The only problem was, their fascination and adoration of princess Haylee, caused all sorts of problems. Hunter, the valiant elder brother, quickly began to mistake his role in his family. On one occasion, while "napping" with a wide array of stuffed animals in his brother's crib, he yelled out, "Mom, I need two nursing pads, please!" (I suppose this is what happens when you send your 3 year old to fetch these for you). My confusion quickly turned to stifled laughter, when Hunter was found laying on his back "nursing" Tanner's Glo-worm. An explanation was quickly given about who can actually in reality create milk for a hungry baby, but he would not be deterred. Instead, he just decided that he was no longer a boy, but a girl. "A Mommy girl," to be precise. Now just try and visualize that poor, little Glo-worm being nursed by Hunter.

Tanner, the curious younger brother, didn't mistake his role, but instead the mentality and physical development of princess Haylee. So although he would find it fun to be launched into the air out of a bouncer his size, he couldn't comprehend why Mommy and Daddy would yell out in horror when he attempted these shenanigans on the princess. (Haylee may have caught air a few times, going completely wide-eyed, but I will deny this if CPS asks me, so don't spread it around).
I know, you can't even picture this innocent face launching a baby, right?

Anyway, aside from this household confusion surrounding princess Haylee, she seems to have been received with open arms and adored by her older brothers. Now we'll just have to keep her hair short, so that no princes will attempt climbing to her tower room.

What little cuties! I love little Haylee's hair & her cute pink Adidas work out pants =] I can imagine Haylee flying through the air. I think Haylee may have more hair in the front than Kennady & Kennady's 10 months =]

She is so cute! But really was there any question that she wouldn't be. With little boys that look like yours she couldn't not be adorable. PS. I used gel on Benjamin's hair when he was lite 2 weeks old.

So I was pretty much cracking up when I read this. I couldn't even hold it in. Then I had to read it to Robyn. I think she thought I was weird. Either that or she thought your kids are weird. Either way, it's all in the family so it doesn't matter. Haylee is pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen!! Her crazy brothers are cute too, but sometimes their behavior causes concern. :) I just feel like I'm rambling...probably because I am. So anyway, thanks for the good laugh which continued to be a good laugh every time I read it!!

Oh Breezy your boys are way to funny. That was a tgood laugh for a hum drum day. Goy Haylee sure looks like her mother. I can see it in her eyes even if they aren't going to be brown.

That is one of the funniest things I've ever read. I can totally see it as a kids picture book... well, maybe minus the "Hunter nurses glow worm" part.
