Random Updates

#1 - First of all, I had my ultrasound Tuesday morning. It turns out our little angel is ONLY about 11 ounces HEAVIER than the average baby at 23 weeks. Stop gasping for air......I'm sure it will be a piece of cake.:) They say if she keeps growing at this pace, she's on target to be as big as Hunter. I know.....someone shoot me. The good news is, the doctor will most likely induce me early. They worry about lung development so I think the most they'll go is two weeks early, but that drops a pound from the total, so I can deal with that. Plus, I'm not actually as worried about having another 10 lb. baby as I am about having my water break at home. Being induced saves me that horror. Once my water breaks, that baby will be out in a half hour.....I don't have time to make it to Richland and Kyle is NOT delivering my baby in the car with his collection of fish hatchery knives and tools (although, he's already volunteering to do so because he doesn't want to pay an ambulance bill). So, good news all around. I won't deliver a baby on Taylor Flats, Kyle won't be attempting to stitch me up with dental floss, AND there's a reason I'm fat besides it just being me. Oh, happy day!

#2 - Hunter stayed with a babysitter who wasn't related to us for the first time EVER on Tuesday. Kyle and I went to the ultrasound and did some grocery shopping while the boys stayed at Schwendimans. She said Hunter didn't even cry. I'm pretty sure this is because he's in love with Cheyenne (who's in Kindergarten) and she was home because it was Veteran's Day, but I don't really care what the reason is.....the point is, HE DID IT!! We love the Schwendimans. They're really good with our kids and have worked really hard to make Hunter comfortable at their house to make this possible. We're thankful for good friends!

#3 - Tanner's turning into a tough guy. He's pretty used to getting beat up by Hunter, which is so sad, but true. Well, there's a little girl in the nursery that really likes to bully the kids. She always tries to shove them and take their toys. Well, she tried shoving Tanner off of this ride-on toy that he was sitting on this Sunday. She's almost twice his size, but my little tiger planted his feet and wouldn't budge. He was of course turning red-faced and grunting all the while, but grunting is typical for him and it makes me laugh. Anyway, after about three attempts, she realized she wouldn't get anywhere with him and moved on to another victim. Now, if I could only get him to stand his ground with Hunter, maybe the bullying would stop around here!

#4 - Hunter's turning into quite the budding artist and Tanner.....well, he eats crayons. Hunter likes to have me color with him, which used to be fine, but it has been discovered that this will only be possible when Tanner is asleep. All was going well......at first. Hunter and I made this beautiful picture (and Matt, I know you're thinking I colored the left page, but I totally didn't):
Tanner's face looked like this at first.....thrilled to just be holding crayons. Well, I took Hunter in to brush his teeth and Kyle was "watching" Tanner. He came barreling down the hall and grinned at me in the bathroom and all I saw was black. He had eaten about half of the black crayon. Kyle's "not sure how he missed that," but Tanner was in heaven. (I'll tell you how he missed it, it's called watching his coyote hunting video so intently that he was unaware that another body was even in the room with him.....even though he'd been told and acknowledged the fact that he was watching Tanner). So, I start brushing his teeth. Problem is, Tanner's favorite part about brushing his teeth is spitting in the sink, so I could barely get in two strokes before he'd "spit." It took about 15 minutes to get the wax out of his teeth and return them to dazzling white and I'm positive most of that crayon is waxing his intestines, making all that exits come out a lot smoother.

So, point is, Hunter colors during naptime.

Anyway, not much else happening here, just way too much excitement for me. Excitement that I'm convinced will be mellowed by my sweet, little girl. Although, she kicks more than my boys ever did, so maybe her birth will just equal MORE excitement. Oh boy.

I already feel like I have gained a hundred pounds. The second is nothing like the first, I was excited for every Dr. appointment with Benjamin, with this one, I dread going and having to be weighed. I think my baby is going to be 20lbs!! The artwork is beautiful!

Cute picture. Your little girl doesn't sound like she is going to be so little. By the way where is the updated picture of you? Mom said you and Wendy were both suppose to update. I saw Wendys.

oh dear, our Hunter eats crayons too and runs away laughing when I ask him to give it to me. I have to say that atleast Kyle is willing to try to deliver your baby, I am pretty sure Chad would pass out and I would be delivering the baby myself! I see you tagged me I will get to it ASAP:)
