Sugar had her puppies. Actually she had them the night of the 8th, but things have been a little hectic. She had 8 puppies and after an hour and a half of no more, we went to bed. Well, we woke up to 13 stinkin' puppies! One didn't make it, but there are 12 alive and well.....6 girls and 6 boys. Well now, no wonder she delivered like a week early!! The trickiest part now is making sure they all get to eat. Sugar only has 10 "spots" for feeding these little guys, so we have to feed them in shifts of six. We have one fat, little girl that likes to eat the duration of BOTH shifts, plus some, so she's kind of a pain. Plus, she eats upside down which is amusing. Whatever.:) Anyway, we have to take them today to get their dew claws removed and register the litter with the AKC and then in 6 weeks they'll get their first set of shots. They'll be ready to go to their new homes in September at 7 weeks old. Anyway, we have a couple that are already spoken for, but if you know anybody that's looking for an AKC registered lab, they're for sale. They're all yellow. The Mom's on site (obviously) and we will have pictures of the Dad (he lives in Naches). Both come from good hunting lines and Sugar's especially good in the water. Anyway, as much as I don't like pets, Sugar really is a good dog. She protects Hunter from other dogs when we go places. It's really cute. You can give them our phone #'s, we don't care. So, anyway, that's the latest scoop. Another day in the life. These are some pictures of her with her last litter.....I haven't taken any new ones yet. The Dad of this litter is the brother of the Dad of the last litter, so they look pretty much the same.

I wondered when you were going to post when I read it on Wendys blog. Congratulations Sugar. What do Hunter and Tanner think of them? I bet Tanner is really excited as he hasn't seen any before.
What is up with people writing blogs about their animals? Not only that, but also pretending to like these animals they've despised the whole time!...Some people...
I don't want a puppy, but they sure are cute for dogs. :)
I DO want a puppy! How can you not love those puppy faces? I think every little boy needs a dog. And i totally want Kaden to have a golden lab. What are the chances you'll still be breeding in like 4 years? (i'm assuming that's what you're doing, otherwise that Sugar just gets around!)
Puppies galore!!
They are so cute! I wish I could take one. (animals + apartment= bad outcome)
I have never in my life been baby hungry.
I have soft spot for yellow labs, especially there puppies...okay, most puppies in general will stop me in my tracks for a while so I can play.
Geez...you made me puppy hungry. They are so darn cute!!!
I'd like to remind you that you posted a while back about your promiscuous dog and now we get to see the "rewards" of her behavior.
Makes me think of my sister. She's having her third baby in 3 years...
"Hello, Kettle. This is the pot. You're black!"
OH SNAP!!!
(I AM totally psyched about you being a "baby mama" 3 times over, but you and Sugar need to look into some cold showers or something. Sheesh.)
