Hunter finally discovered drinking from the sprinkler. Now he won't stop.

And Tanner finally discovered the sprinkler period. He loves it and just sat in it, soaked from head to toe.

As you can see, Tanner's actually my fearless one, which I find really amusing. We can't control him any more at all.....especially considering the fact that he's so big. As a matter of fact, he climbs up the back of the couch constantly to look out the window. Yesterday he did it so many times that he lost his pants, then his diaper. So, we were being mooned. It took both of us holding him down to get his diaper and pants back on. I have pictures which are actually hilarious, but I didn't want them on my blog, just in case. He's almost to the point where he can push Hunter over, which will go over big I'm sure. He loves to give kisses now and makes the most adorable kissing noises while he's doing it. Some nights he insists on giving me twenty kisses in a row before he actually lays down to go to sleep (when he's not having a royal fit). He likes to repeat words people say all of the time now, but he doesn't just repeat words, he has to yell words. So, anyone who knows Tanner can picture him yelling words with his deep, little voice. Nothing is said softly (except the number 2 when he counts, surrounded by a very loud 1 and 3.....I know, weird right?)

Hunter's still my cautious, little boy. But it's endearing. He's so careful and deliberate. He has patterns he follows and organizes his life accordingly. I pretty much know what I can expect from him every day, give or take a little moodiness. This is a nice balance for unpredictable Tanner. He's still cuddly and I'm thankful for that. I hope he never grows out of it. He talks up a storm.....like we can't get him to stop. Any time Kyle and I are talking he says, "Talkin' about?" and wants a thorough explanation. His memory is unbelievable. My Mom and Dad drive a Camry and when they were here, he would point out every Camry he saw and say, "Grandma's car!" And he's dead on with the models too. He can even tell the difference between different years of Jeep Wranglers. Yeah, I'd say I have a little Kyle Junior on my hands. He knows if I'm driving toward the fish hatchery or our house or whatever. I think he memorizes the routes. It's crazy! I could get lost driving around the block, but not Hunter.
Anyway, I'm grateful for both of my boys, for their differences and their similarities. And there aren't many similarities actually!:) They're a joy to have around and I love them.

I hope this doesn't puff you up too much, but I hope my kids are as cute as yours. I am so excited to see you guys in a couple of weeks! Love you!
Did you get that Bri? Wendy said kids, I knew she was having more than one :) Those boys are getting so big and cute. I can hardly wait to see them.
I'm seriously going to need to take a little field trip over there to see MY boys. Do you know that I've never heard Tanner say anything yet?? That's just wrong.
It sounds like Hunter is smart like his Uncle Matt. It's a difficult burden to bear but I'm sure he'll manage. (I know he's strong. He's shown me his muscles.)
Your kids are beyond cute :) They are growing up so so fast! I wish you guys lived over here so I could see you more often, but apparently Kyle likes it better in Eastern Washington. That should change :)
