Tanner's First Birthday!

Tanner turned a year old yesterday. Time flies by way too quickly. He actually had a pretty tough day. He and Hunter have been sick for a week. They started out last weekend with the flu, were better for a day, and then it morphed into terrible head colds. They both have sore noses and are less than pleasant. I was supposed to get his year old pictures taken today, but had to reschedule because my poor babies just look sick. Poor little guys!
Well, regardless, he enjoyed his little party. Kyle's Dad, Sister, and our Nephew came over. Tanner's highlights were stuffing his face with Elmo cake, ice cream, and playing with balloons and paper. Kids are sure easy to please!:) Hunter and Tailor got more of a kick out of opening presents than Tanner. As long as they gave him the bow, he didn't really notice.
Anyway, Hunter thinks what's Tanner's is his, so we've already watched Tanner's new Sesame Street Videos (even though Tanner was busy chasing balloons). Hunter also takes all of Tanner's new toys and acts like they're his. Tanner patiently subjects.....at least this year. Next year we'll have a whole different ball game on our hands. At least Hunter can't take his new clothes because they won't fit. Although he did try stealing Tanner's new baseball cap and making it fit on his big head.....to no avail. Ah, brothers.....too much excitement. Birthdays are the life around here, I tell ya!

I love the pictures. You can tell Tanner doesn't feel to good. I don't think it will take a year for Tanner to know what is his and take it back from Hunter. Thanks for sharing. Love you all.
