And he’s seven! He was pretty happy about the accomplishment. Kyle convinced me to buy him a BB gun for his Birthday so both boys would have one. And I did it. And we’ve only had a few disasters, so . . . I guess that’s good. Nothing’s actually died from its use anyway.
This boy makes my heart smile. His intensity for life hasn’t lessened since he was a tiny boy. Everything is spectacular . . . or amazing or the best day ever or completely exasperating or horrendously awful. It just is. He lives life that way and I enjoy watching the ever changing storm. He loves that intensely too. He always wants a hug or to cuddle or to just tell me how great of a mom I am and how much he loves me. The adoration he gets from little miss Avery is a vivid indication of the type of boy he is. I’m amazed at the differences in my kids’ personalities and how much those differences help make this home such a great place. Couldn’t live without you, Tanner. We love you, buddy!
He’s looking so grown up to me in this picture. Oh, and I almost forgot. I’ll love Tanner for life because he wanted strawberry shortcake for his Birthday and I didn’t have to decorate a cake. Blessed boy!
