Our family loves to go sledding and snowshoeing. And luckily we have friends that do too. We planned a sledding trip our friends, the Sullivans, and then decided to make a weekend of it. We took our kids up the day before and rented a hotel room (which ended up being two rooms because apparently you can’t four kids in a room no matter how small because of the fire code. Who knew. Anyway, we didn’t stay anywhere fancy, but made sure the place in Walla Walla was close to the mountains and had a pool. Fun stuff. Our kids had such a blast. They LOVED staying in the hotel room and watching TV in their beds. They LOVED playing in the pool and the hot tub. They LOVED sledding all day with their friends until the were soaked and frozen to the bone. We never did go snowshoeing because there wasn’t enough snow for that, but we found sufficient to at least sled. We had a GREAT time and already can’t wait to go again. I love these moments with my family where everybody just can’t help but have fun. One for the books.
Avery discovered how much fun kicking was.
My personal favorite. Once he sees it he’ll realize what happens when you make faces in every photo you take with your mother. I’m so mature.
She hates to wear her gloves. And then cries when her hands are cold as if she didn’t cause the problem herself.
I love this photo so much. Some of their best buddies. And they’re genuinely happy and having a great time. Love to see this.
We’ll definitely be repeating this trip. What a weekend!
