Since Hunter’s eight and a cub scout now, he got to race in his first Pinewood Derby. He was SO excited. He and Kyle worked on his car for a month it seems like. Kyle researched and planned and Hunter helped build. I only had one job and that was to help paint his car camo. I’ll take it. He actually ended up with a pretty fast car and did really well even though he wasn’t in the top four. He was pleased with how his car did and was such a good sport. I loved watching him get to do that.
Can’t believe he’s old enough to be a Cub Scout already. Good grief.
Dad was just as much into it as he was (or more, but are you supposed to confess things like that?).
Look at the trouble written all over that expression. She only tried to pull the flags down and get to the track like 19 times. No problem.
Buddies: Tyler, Hunter, and Shaden.
Tailor, Gramps, Aricka, and Chris came to watch. Hunter was really excited about that.
Tanner can hardly wait to be eight.
