Haylee went to a Junior cheer clinic put on by our Connell High School cheerleaders. If you want to talk about a girl who was in heaven, we most certainly can. She was in the Pre-K group and so, let’s face it, their routine was chaotic and hilarious. But she was beaming from ear to ear and shaking her little booty the whole time. I’m still in awe over where this girl came from. Her love of dance, cheer, gymnastics . . . it’s a mystery to me. But even so, I LOVE that she’s passionate about this stuff and that she puts in the effort to try and to do. Plus, she’s stinkin’ adorable with pompoms. My word it was cute watching her. The night of the clinic she got to perform at halftime of the boys’ varsity game. Was she nervous or embarrassed? Fat chance. She was ticked she had to wait so long to perform. I had to keep buying her Laffy Taffy to keep her quiet. Love this girly girl.
