While on the west side, my family took a little excursion to Priest Point State Park on the Budd Inlet in Olympia. It’s one of the best parks I’ve been to. It had beach access (well, it’s on Puget Sound, so no actual waves) and forestland in the same spot. I wish I lived closer to it because I love it there. There are several hikes you can do as well, and I’d like to do those one of these days. Anyway, we had a picnic and played on the beach. The kids also played on the playground and tossed around a frisbee with Uncle Dan. Here’s my favorite part…..pictures.
Cousin Evan and Haylee. They’re 5 weeks apart and are best friends. It’s so cute. He always tries to nuzzle her and hug her (which usually results in head-butting, but it’s cute anyway). He also constantly steals her toys, but then she yells at him, one of the adults rescues whatever goods he stole, and all is right in the world again.
Hunter and Tanner needed more water for making mud.
My brother, Dan and his wife, Amanda.
Haylee playing in the sand and refusing to look at the camera, as usual.
My cute nephew, Evan on the playground.
Beach bums.
My brother, Joey always looks so good in my Grandma’s hats.
Evan stealing Haylee’s toys…..as usual.:) She still loves him though.
Me and my babies. They’re so fun.
Me, my sister, Kim, and Haylee.
Tanner’s always on some sort of mission.
Joey and his daughter, Kennady.
