Thanksgiving 2009

Our family.
Playing cars with Grandpa.
My four nutty, but lovely sisters (Emily, Kim, Katie, & Wendy) tearing bread for our stuffing.
Evan & Haylee playing together. Evan's 5 weeks older.....and like 5 times as big.:)
Uncle Matt and Haylee. Let me just say right now that it's going to look like I never brush my daughter's hair. It's not true. She just pulls out all of the accessories AND this west side humidity does not help AT ALL. She goes all curly and crazy (those are my delightful genes).
Silly Evan.
Taking a nap with Aunt Kim.
Playing with Grandpa.
She loves Aunt Emily. Emily can really get her laughing.
Me and my wonderful Mom.
Pretty cheeseball.
Tanner getting into all of the Christmas decorations......what else is new?
Looks thrilled, doesn't he?
Decorating Grandma and Grandpa's tree.
Me and my brother, Dan.
Tanner actually under the tree. This kid is crazy.
The tree we cut down this year. We'll probably decorate it Monday.
Hiding under another tree while Daddy cut down ours.
Just love this shot of my handsome Hunter.

We spent Thanksgiving with my family over in Chehalis. All seven of my siblings and their families were able to make it. That doesn't happen often, so it was exciting. We spent a lot of time chatting, playing games, and eating, of course. We also got to help out with decorating my parents' house and we cut down our Christmas tree to bring home. We even managed to take pictures for our Christmas cards. So productive.

Anyway, as for events of importance. Kyle thinks he broke his hand playing in the Turkey Bowl. Chehalis ward plays Adna ward on Thanksgiving morning on my old high school football field. Apparently it gets pretty ugly.....and so is his hand, so what a coincidence. Do you think he'll go to the doctor though? Yeah, the answer is no. Anyway, I missed that excitement as I was off on a shopping errand that was unplanned yet very fruitful. Let's see, we discovered that Tanner's love for Christmas lights extends beyond praying in gratitude for them......he likes to kiss individual lights as well. Not sure why, but he thinks he's being sweet so that's all that matters, I guess. We got the chance to go see "Blind Side," kid-free (thanks to my parents watching the kids). Good movie. I'm not often impressed enough with a movie to recommend it, but this one I would. Oh, and we found out that our kids have another cousin on the way. Joey and Sarah are due in July with #2. Congrats to them again! Anyway, all in all, it was a very fun trip. It always flies by too quickly, but we were so happy to get to see everyone and spend time with them.

Great family picture and I loved them all. I must have been in the kitchen when Tanner climbed under the rree. It was great to see you all together again and know that everyone is doing well. Even Dan after his surgery. And great news about Joey and Sarah. I loved the t shirt announcement.

That is a great family photo. It is fun too see your sisters all grown up from when I was in Chehalis ward. -- all so pretty.

Well, super late here, but I hope if Kyle DID break his hand he got some medical attention! Seriously Kyle!

Second, LOVE the pictures as always! Reminded me how much I <3 your family! How exciting you all got to be together...I know how rare that is for our family and there's only 4 of us, two of whom aren't married and only one has kids! Of course I especially loved your family Christmas card picture (thanks for sending it!!!) and the "Kyle being thrilled pic." At least it's a realistic picture. LOL

I love seeing pics of your family! I have such fond memories of your dad teaching early morning seminary. He was awesome. You will have to tell him hello for me. You have a beautiful family! It is so fun to connect after lots of years!
