Maybe I'm partial and all, but she is VERY good looking. So do you want to hear all of the drama surrounding my ultrasound? I'm sure you do. My boys have had the flu as you all know, so this morning Kyle started throwing up around 4:30am. We debated back and forth and then decided to head in for the ultrasound anyway. He pretty much puked every 15 minutes on the way there, so it was decided he'd stay in the car with Tanner (who still isn't doing great) and Hunter and I would go in for the ultrasound (you couldn't have bribed Hunter to miss it). Anyway, we get in there and the lady asked what I thought it was. "A boy," I assured her. The first shot that came on the screen was my baby with legs wide open. I instantly thought, "Wait a second, is that a girl?" but said nothing. She asked Hunter what he thought it was. "It's a girl." He said it like he was more sure about it than anything in his life (which he's been telling us all along that it was.......) She said, "I think you're right, Hunter." And do you know what he does? He smirks at her all smug, like he wondered why she'd be implying he wasn't right. Anyway, everything she pointed out on the screen, Hunter acted like he could see (even though I'm positive he had no idea what he was looking at), and said things like, "Oh, what a cute foot!" Sure, Hunter, whatever. I think he did realize where the baby was at when she switched it to the 3-D screen and he thought that was pretty cool. Anyway, I nearly jumped off of the table with the excitement that it was a girl. I think the woman was concerned with my mental stability and said, "You know, boys aren't that bad." I was like, "Well, no kidding, but I have two and really wanted a girl." In my mind I was thinking, "Well, no kidding, but I have two who are already on their way to becoming dangerously similar to Kyle and I NEED a girl." I show great restraint though, don't I?:) Anyway, I love my boys and I wouldn't trade them for anything, but I just needed a girl to balance out my life. Of course, this presents an interesting problem. I had a feeling we had a boy waiting to get here. Where is he? I hope no one thinks that I intend to try for another right after this to get a boy. I need some time.:)Oh, the ultrasound tech also informed me that she had a really big tummy and I told her that was fine because so did Tanner. When Tanner gets older he's probably going to be scarred by all of the things I said about him as a child. She also informed me that she was measuring big for how far along I was. Oh really? Like all of my kids haven't? So there......something to explain my size.:)

Oh yay!!! The first to leave a comment, and more importantly, CONGRATS!!!!!! I am so excited for you! We decided to wait 3 years between kids, we're at the point of timing being good for 2 years and I can tell I am getting lots closer. Your story didn't help! Hahaha. And I too run big, and the further along I get, the bigger they get.

Congratulations! Kyle needs a baby girl! Whatever you do dont tell him that they make pink camo or you will never get to dress your pretty little princess! Too fun! Congrats! Mijken
Congratulations!! I am so excited for you. I think that you deserve a girl too. My older sister has 3 boys that are 6, 4, and 2 and I think that she is afraid to try again on fear that she will have 4 boys. She wants a girl so bad. I will have to tell her that you are having one she likes to hear about people having girls after having boys it gives her hope.
