Do you see what's happening here? Kyle has brainwashed him already and he only wants to wear camo. As a matter of fact, he wears that camo hat with EVERY outfit. Lucky me. He is cute though, isn't he?:)

Tanner's loving basketball as much as Hunter. He can't quite get the ball up there, but he doesn't seem to care. He gets pretty excited about simply shooting it. He's also obsessed with bathtub basketball. He has fits when he has to get out of the tub.

Look at the form on that kid. We're two for two in the basketball department.:)

Can you say 'ball hog?'

My little guys have had the flu for the past 3 or 4 days. Hunter got hit first, then Tanner. Let me just say that Tanner never naps this voluntarily.....nor so peacefully. The one thing I've learned about toddlers and the flu is that even though they're throwing up, they won't sit still. Okay, wait, actually two things. And this one is for my brother, Matt, since he loves the disgusting details of having children so much. Never in the three years since I've had kids have I ever had to change their diapers with them standing up in the bathtub and using the shower head to hose them down. Can it even count as poop if it's the consistency of water? Yeah, I don't think so. I've done more laundry in the past 4 days than I usually do in a month and none of it has been the laundry I originally needed to get done. And actually, now that I'm whining, why is it that kids can't throw up in a toilet or a bowl? Hunter has a phobia or something and just throws up on himself and whatever is near him. Tanner does too, but he's too little to comprehend that sort of thing and frankly, this is the first time he's ever thrown up. Anyway, now that Matt's probably throwing up himself, I'll just end my little rant. Luckily I'm not throwing up any more.

You're probably wondering why my kids are drinking Pedialite and ginger ale while standing in the playpen. It's called "containing the problem." I can't control when they're going to throw up or overflow a diaper, but I can control where they're allowed to do it. Plus, Tanner just flings his pedialite around anyway and this is serious damage control.
Hunter, flu or not, insists on building lego towers and forcing me to take pictures of him. He just had to have them to "send to Kim in Switzerland." He loves his missionary aunt and therefore, thinks that the most important thing in her life would be seeing his lego towers. And I'm sure you think this is the only photo there is of this sort of thing, but let me assure you it isn't.
Anyway, as disgusting and exhausting as the past 4 days have been, I do love my boys and feel quite bad for them. Hopefully this week will be better. It couldn't be worse, that's for sure. And hey, I find out on Tuesday if I'm having a boy or a girl. So, when they tell me it's going to be another boy, I'm just going to have flashbacks of this week and cry.:)

I feel so bad for you and the boys. But they look so cute, even when they're sick. I personally find this unfair, because I look totally disgusting. However Sister Longhurst did assure me that I didn't look as bad as I felt. :) Anyway, I'm pretty excited to receive the lego tower photos. He's probably right to assume that that would be the most exciting thing in my life right now. :P Well, at least almost. :) Anyway, I just love you bunches. Tell Hunter I appreciated the picture he drew and the fact that he thinks I'm tall. :) Take care and watch out for puke.
Tough for the boys to be sick and tough for mom to have to keep everything clean! Hope they get better quick and hope Kyle helps some too. ;)
I agree, Tanner has GREAT form...great picture too!
When I visit or you all visit here, Hunter and I will have to build some lego towers. I have TONS of legos and I hardly EVER get to use them anymore! Legos are still my favorite toy. I think it's awesome he wants to send stuff to his aunt, though I'm sure for you taking a million pictures of the same thing gets old...at least it will be great additions to senior slide shows and wedding slideshows down the road =D.
Cute pictures Bri. Looks like Hunter will be the football player and tanner the basketball player but with their builds it should be the other way around. So Kim kinda leans towards my girl dream. Now do you think I'm right? Love you all bunches and miss you terribly.Tell Hunter Grandma D likes his tower too.
AWWW Cute boys... Bri you are not only one who struggle kids with flu.. it not really fun and easy! Maya hates pot/pan and toilet too.. ALexz love throw up everywhere everytime i put down all sheets, blankets on floor or couch easy to throw in washer.. heh! but alexz start throw up in toilet.. hopefully maya do! i know this season soon start.. i totally understand how you go through.. :) love you all!! Hugs
Poor boys! I hope they are getting better! It sounds like a Hazmat area at your house :) I haven't yet experienced those joys of the shower hosing off! It's sooo nice to see Tanner standing & walking everywhere :) He's getting so big so fast! I can't wait to find out what you're having! I'm rooting for a girl so Kennady won't be the only one & so Hunter won't be upset :) I'm glad that you weren't throwing up during this whole ordeal because that could have been a big disaster :) Love you guys!!
Maybe you can be hopeful that the doctors are wrong. I have a friend who just gave birth to Eli, not Isabel has they had learned while she was pregnant. Everything pink for a little boy. So, the doctor can be wrong...possibly....but you still know that if you have a girl, she'll be just like you. And we all love you so that would be great!
sick or not, you have some super cute boys there!!
