And Some More July

Random photo time. This is what happens when you get behind a year on your blog. I’m sorry, but everyone will just have to deal with this until I catch up.

Day1

Oh, this boy’s eyes. Swoon.

Day4

Eating a board book. This was a common sight for a long while. Avery eating books or toilet paper. We found out later that it was due to severe iron deficiency. We’ve mostly overcome that although getting her to eat is still a chore. The books are now safe and her coloring is better and her personality is much, much wilder. I knew the mellow disposition was too good to be true in the Huwe house.

Cousins came to visit! I love that my boys light up around Kate. Hunter’s smile doesn’t get more genuine than that. Oh, sweet Kate, how we love you.

I also love my tan children next to Wendy’s pasty ones. That’s how she and I look next to each other too. Bwahaha! Love you, Wendy.

Makes me laugh every time. The similarities in these three girls are almost scary (or actually are because it’s their independence and feistiness that they share).

Day9

Day11

Melt my heart. That relationship isn’t gone yet and I hope it never leaves.

Day14

Love this crazy girl.

Day8

And in fantastic news, July is the month that the hatchery FINALLY removed the nasty carpet in our dining room and put in this floor. I still smile every time I look at it. I can’t tell you what a relief that room now is. Grape juice flung across the room no longer carries with it the same terror. They also painted the room tan and red (the only room besides our master bath that was partially redone that has any color . . . hatchery houses are standard white by contract). Now the dining room is the warmest room in the house and everything else looks stale. Haha They also put baseboards in the dining room which is another thing this house has always been without. It looks so much more finished. Hopefully some day the rest of the house will match. Fingers crossed.
