The first week of August we went camping with our friends, Luke and Leisl, and their four kids. We love them and our kids match up in pretty much every way . . . age, personality, etc. We always have a good time with them and camping is the best for just relaxing and letting everyone play. Plus, you’re supposed to be filthy, so a Mom’s cleanup duty is way easier (as in nonexistent).:) We camped at Crow Creek this year and found the absolute best spot, so we of course plan to return. Hopefully sooner rather than later, but you know how that goes. Warning about the picture overload that is about to follow.
My little Hunter is getting so good with a camera. And he was even using my big, professional one!
Avery is not exactly fond of getting her photo taken when she thinks it’s chow time. And in her world, it’s always chow time. So, ignore her fit in the one below.:)
Shaden, Haylee, and Tanner. The fire was, of course, quite popular with the kids.

Getting ready to hike through Boulder Cave. Our family did this a couple of years ago and loved it. It was equally fun the second time.

After hiking to the waterfall. Yep, it was a little cold, I guess.:)
The view of Mt. Rainier from Raven’s Roost. Spectacular.
Where are Kyle and Luke? Yep, they’re that crazy. Don’t ask what their wives thought about this situation.
