My little man is 4. It’s pretty hard to believe. Time just seems to go faster and faster. Hunter starts school in the fall and then Tanner follows right on his heels the next year. Not sure I’m ready for this. I blame hormones:), but frankly I just like having my kids around. They’re such wonderful and fun kids. I mentioned earlier that Tanner is intense. No one could argue that. It will benefit him throughout his life. He’s also one of the most thoughtful kids I know. He loves to share. When most kids don’t like to share their toys he’ll give up anything for anyone to make them happy. He also gives Haylee the sweetest hugs (when he’s not beating her up). He’s always been quieter (as far as conversations go), but now he’s starting to “chat” with me about random things he sees outside or things he did or whatever. I’m glad. It goes nicely with his cuddling. I just realized that I haven’t even scheduled his four year check-up (good thing for blogging, I guess), so I’m clueless as to his stats. I will say he’s still my little shorty though. Let’s face it, one of the kids was bound to get my short jeans. I just thought it would be Haylee and not Tanner. Sorry buddy. He’s completely muscle-bound though, so I suppose that makes up for it.:) He’s our little gymnast…..flying and flipping and climbing all over the place. I can’t imagine not having him around. He makes life so fun, that’s for sure.
Turkey hunting cake this year. It was actually a relief that Kyle convinced him to have this one because originally he essentially wanted a Taco Bell, a rodeo, and a mountain lion on his cake. Not sure where he comes up with this stuff.:)
The garbage truck he’s been asking for for at least 6 months. Thank you Toys R Us!:)
When I brought out his bike and told him I forgot a present, he couldn’t find it. Neither could Shaden or Hunter. They just didn’t see it. Funny stuff. He loves it though. Happy Birthday, buddy! We love you!

Happy Birthday, Tanner! Gramma and Grampa love you! Bri, your cakes are getting more and more elaborate. You are setting quite a standard for yourself. I can hardly wait to see what is next!
