Well, so my parents moved. I’m not sure if I mentioned that or not. My Dad is the CFO for a newspaper group that owns a couple of different papers on the westside. They purchased another paper down in Battleground, which is by Vancouver (near Portland). My superstar Dad is still the CFO for all of the papers that they own, but he’s also now the publisher of the The Reflector in Battleground. Go Daddy! Anyway, this required a move down there and so that’s what they did. A few weeks ago (Yes, I know that makes me really behind) I went over and finally saw their house and visited them. I was also picking up my Grandma and my little sisters for a trip over here to go camping at Moses Lake, but that’s a different post (which I’m also very late posting). It was fun to see them and my kids were thrilled, of course. They LOVE going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. I’m convinced that they also enjoy showing my parents what mellow children they had by displaying the exact opposite behavior, but I can’t prove it or anything.:)
This photo that my Mom took pretty well captures the look that I’m sure is on my face the majority of the time. And although I love my children, I love the reality of the situation even more…..:).
Ah, that’s better. See…..we’re normal.
Walking with Boppa. That’s how all my kids have said Grandpa when first learning to talk. Haylee loves her Boppa.
Tanner with his Aunt Tatie Tot (she secretly likes it when we call her this, don’t let her fool you).
I also got to meet my new, sweet nephew Coby. He was born at the end of June. AND I got to do my first newborn photo shoot on him. He was kind of mad about it at first, but after a good feeding, he was totally cooperative and slept right through it. I think he’s angelically CUTE. He’s like a dark hair/dark skin version of Joey (he can thank Sarah for his coloring). He’s a BEAUTIFUL baby.
All in all, a superb time. And we’re excited to be going for a little bit longer of a visit in a few days. Daddy’s off to go hunting for a couple of weeks and so we’re headed over to Renton/Chehalis/Battleground to visit. Yahoo!

Uh, is it terrible I had NO CLUE your parents moved? That's great for them though, I'm sure. Bummer for us! And I really love the shoot of your nephew. He's adorable.
Anyway, since I'm way out of touch... your kids are too cute and I think the look on my face is way more angry than your cute rolling of the eyes. You must have the patience of Job.
So are they right in Battleground? A close friend of mine lives there as well. She loves the location. I wonder if they're in the same ward! :)
Great post Bri. Glad I got to take part in it. Great pictures as always. Maybe I'll start calling Katie Tatie Tot too.
Love the shot of you in "chaos". Seriously, that is motherhood!! Love ya!
