I went out to lunch with a couple of my dearest friends while we were there too. Katie was kind enough to watch the boys so I could go out in public in peace. That's my friend, Anna with her new baby, Isabella, Haylee and I, and my friend, Shannon. I love these girls! In other news:
Kyle: He's working and hunting. I'm not sure that's news.:) He went hunting for a couple of weeks and that's why the kids and I were visiting my family. Now birds or something has started, so I suppose we won't be seeing much of him. Hunter's been begging to go.
Me: Well.....my hair's growing back in finally, so pretty soon I won't look so bald. You can be excited that I won't always be wearing hats now. I started back up with my classes too. I'm only taking one this quarter since I still have a nursing baby, but I'll be upping my load next quarter. I was convinced that I might finish my AA by the time I was thirty. Since that's next week, I guess not, BUT I may still finish it in my 30th year. Only time will tell. Don't ask me how I plan on finishing my BA after that, since WSU Tri-cities doesn't have my major, but whatever. One thing at a time.
Hunter: He's growing like a weed. He turns four at the end of November and is very excited for the hunting cake that he thinks I can make. Oh dear. He's very into hunting lately and wants a bow for his Birthday (yes, a toy one.....although Kyle would buy him a real one if I'd let him). I'm not sure I can handle these interests. Like I said before, he's in preschool and he's liking that. He's obsessed with sports and wants to start playing them, but he's too young, so he can't and this really upsets him. He's incredibly smart and keeps us on our toes. I love my little man. Oh, and not sure if I mentioned it before, but we finally got him totally potty trained at the beginning of September. It's heavenly. That's all I'll say.
Tanner: Well, he's talking up a storm. Learning from his brother, I guess. He wants to go to preschool with Hunter and cries every time I tell him he can't. This kid is fearless. He's scared of nothing.....except heights. And he's strong as an ox. Hunter's luck in beating him up is about to run out. I think he'll actually be quite a bit shorter than Hunter, but he's solid and has a grip of steel. He loves being outside doing anything and hates to come in, which is generally okay, but occasionally we're blessed with gigantic fits because of it. Fun times. Having two boys in the toddler stage is an adventure to say the least.
Haylee: She started crawling about two weeks ago! I'm ashamed to tell you that she was crawling after Tanner's Dodge 4x4 pickup, and then Hunter's Ford Bronco, but that's the truth. She's a total tomboy so far. (Which, let's face it.....YAY for me!) She wants to play with all of their balls and tractors and trucks, and that's about it. Now she's getting into everything in the house and is pretty proud of herself about it. I have to close the bathroom door again because she goes straight for it. Not sure why.....she can't reach anything yet. I was just able to start leaving it open because Tanner outgrew the urge to trash it constantly and play in the water. She still only has her two bottom teeth and it doesn't seem like any more are coming in yet. Her hair's getting really long and she can wear pigtails and they don't even stick up. It's really cute! She hates it when I touch her hair however, so she'll probably be one of those free-spirited girls whose hair is flying all over the place until she's a teenager. You can feel bad for me in advance if you want. She's eating loads of food. She loves all of her vegetables and fruit and cereal. She wants to eat big people food and yells every time we're eating, but I keep telling her she needs more teeth first. Like I said before, she doesn't listen.:) Anyway, even though she's definitely causing more trouble, she's such a joy to have around. She has a wonderful, happy personality and everyone in the house loves her.

I feel your pain! We lived with dial up for almost 6 years!! We just recently got hi-speed and boy was I missing something GREAT!! I did find with dial up that if you try to upload only 1 or 2 pictures at a time it went a lot faster than trying to do 5. Don't get me wrong it was still slow:( I was glad to see you had updated but now I know the reason behind it:) I hope you survive hunting season, good luck with that!
We can't wait to see you guys at Thanksgiving! Love you and miss you!
I had dial up when I first started blogging and told my husband it had to go. But now we pay a whopping amount to have our satellite internet and that stinks. I wish comcast would just get their rears into gear and serve our road. It serves the road next to us....shucks!
Anyway, your family is adorable. I love reading about you guys! Seriously, I don't think I ever really knew you before until I started reading your blog. Funny how that works right?
I can't believe Hunter is in preschool already!
Kennady & Haylee have such a special bond... and Tanner & Kennady have a mischevious bond =]
I'm pretty sure those are Emily's glasses =]
I love Haylee's polo shirt. It's too cute.
I'm glad your hair is growing back. Before I got pregnant with Kennady, my hair was way thick. Now? Well, one side has less hair than the other & it's thinner than it used to be.
Great pictures and yes you are right I am 73. Just ask Wendy and she will be glad to tell you. lol I love that picture of Haylee, she looks so happy and playful. Like sarah it is hard to believe that Hunter is in Preschool. You will survive hunting season. I always did. Kyle and Grandpa aare so much alike. Can't help but love that guy.I'm glad you are finally getting your hair back.
Great update - fun to see some updated pictures of your growing family. So cute! Good luck getting through hunting season - I must admit I'm glad Alan's not into that (funny considering the fact that he and Kyle were such good friends growing up). Oh well. :)
Kyle's working and hunting?!? STOP THE PRESSES!! Oh wait never mind. It's Kyle.
I didn't know that dial-up still existed...I was just talking to my mom about the "dark ages" of our Internet use when we had dial-up and we didn't know better. Hope you can come back to the 21st century soon, but let's be honest: the fact that you have electricity and other modern amenities with Kyle is kind of unexpected. We both know he'd be happy in a tent in the middle of nowhere. Apparently you're halfway there?? ;)
Love the pictures...I love Fall too. I posted a bunch of pictures on Facebook of the leaves here...just driving today there's so much to color to see!!
