This handsome guy was baptized on the 30th of November. What a joy his life has been. I don’t mean to be sentimental . . . or well, I kind of do, I guess. Behind that smile is a heart just as warm. I’m so grateful and proud to be the mother of a son who is so kind, caring, and concerned. He watches out for everyone. He’s intelligent and feeling and completely capable of making good decisions for the rest of his life. Inside this little body is the heart and soul of an amazing man. One day his body will catch up and I’ll be amazed at the powerful source for good he is. But for now I kind of hope that he’ll stay my innocent, sweet boy, at least for a little longer.
Hunter, we’re so grateful for you. You bring happiness and joy into our home. You are intelligent, talented, compassionate, and strong. We’re so proud of the decision you made to be baptized and to follow your Savior, Jesus Christ. You just made one of the most important decisions you will ever make and you chose so well. We’re so pleased with you. We love you.
Hunter’s baptism was wonderful. Uncle Dan and Grandpa Walker spoke and did a great job. Hunter was baptized and confirmed by his dad. He ended up with pretty cold water, just like his mom had. What a wonderful night.
And that’s as good as our family photo got. Awesome. Or not. At least we didn’t attempt anything out of the ordinary.
Ignore my balding head. It is what it is.
Great Grandma Swallow even made it!
There are a lot of people who love you, buddy! We’re so proud of you.
