Well, I attempted to do newborn photos of Avery. Photo Tip #1: Don’t even TRY to take photos of your own baby . . . especially at your own house where 3 other children reside. It was basically a disaster . . . yelling kids, slamming doors, doors left open to let in a draft. Basically, everything that makes taking newborn photos difficult was happening here. Add that to the fact that my baby knew I was there and wasn’t holding her and we had a recipe for disaster. Oh well. I got a couple of cute ones and there will be one on the wall and everything is fine.:) It’s not like any were ever taken of my other babies anyway, so Avery’s one step ahead either way.:) And if you’re wondering why I didn’t use any of my crazy, cute hats, it’s because her head is actually WAY too tiny. She’s drowning even in newborn hats! Even those newborn headbands are all clipped in the back to keep them on her cute, little head. Small head . . . totally a first for a Walker baby.:)
