I took these at the same time as Haylee’s. It was a little bit before his fourth Birthday, but he had no facial bruises, scabs, or other issues, so I figured it was as good a time as any. Plus, I didn’t want to get behind again. It’s all about prevention.:) Anyway, Tanner has entered the cheesy smiling phase of life, so this has gotten trickier than ever before, but we managed. We love our Tanner boy. I always think that as he ages his high-energy personality will mellow out some, but it doesn’t. That’s just Tanner. He attacks everything in life like it is the best or worst thing he’s ever encountered. Nothing is ever a “passive” event. This can be crazy when his intensity inspires him to naughtiness:), however, when it inspires him to goodness, it’s one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen. His capacity to love is huge and I love that about him. And he’ll always be my cuddler. I hope he doesn’t want to sit on my lap when he’s 12. I’m sure he’ll be bigger than me by then. Anyway, love this little guy!
