I’m fairly positive that I’ve never been so behind in my life, but I can’t prove it or anything. Anyway, back in September (like over a month ago actually) Kyle went deer/elk hunting for two weeks and so the kids and I took an extended trip the the westside. I had several photo shoots while over there, so we ended up seeing family in Renton, visiting Chehalis, and staying with my parents in Battle Ground. We stayed busy and it was a fun trip. I figured it was probably high time to post the pics and what not.:)
This is my Uncle, Aunt, cousins, and their families. I only have one Aunt and Uncle and two first cousins, so I’m pretty darn glad that they’re as cool as they are.:) And this is actually in their backyard. I know, gorgeous, right?
My Uncle Walt helping my kids feed the Koi in his pond. I’m pretty sure that Haylee would have dived right in had she been free to do so. She’s LOVES my Uncle Walt.
Hunter holding his newest cousin, Coby. He now has another new nephew too, but Greyson wasn’t here just yet. He loves babies. It’s cute. Tanner shows no interest and Haylee tries to maul them constantly. Very interesting combo.:)
My Dad is such a good sport…..really.
Haylee loves sitting on Hunter. He was watching “The Man from Snowy River” and so now she thinks he’s her own personal horse. She makes him give her rides. He doesn’t mind…..he’s such a good big brother.
Coby’s blessing day. You know, I’ve never thought that I look much like my little brother, Joey, but when I look at this picture, I kind of think I might. I mean, he shaves his hair on purpose and I’m losing mine by no choice of my own, but I think we look alike even in the face a little bit now.:) Sarah, remind me to shoot you a disc with the rest of the pics from that afternoon. I keep forgetting that nobody else took pictures that day.
I love this picture, mostly because that is a typical face for my Dad to make, as any of my siblings will attest to. I inherited that expression and so has Hunter. Makes me smile every time I see it.
Tanner and Kennady hiding in Joey and Sarah’s cupboard. These two are SO MUCH alike, which is probably why they typically can’t get along at all.:)
Battle Ground has some incredible parks and hiking areas nearby. My little sister, Katie and I, decided to take the kids on a 5 mile hike up to this waterfall. We had the single stroller, but can I just say that a 5 mile hike is WAY too much for the little tikes to handle. Hunter did pretty good until the very end when he got tired, but Tanner was struggling. We gave him a turn in the stroller and traded off carrying Haylee, but the poor guy was pooped out. Anyway, this made for an exhausted Mommy and Aunty too since we were carrying kids and giving piggy back rides while hiking, but we lived.:) And can I just say that the hike was GORGEOUS. I love westside green. Nothing compares to it anywhere. We walked along a river the majority of the time too and it was just peaceful and beautiful. Ah, I love the outdoors.
My awesome artist of a sister sharing watercolor painting tips with Hunter. He adores her…..and he paints every day that I’ll let him. My older brother Matt and my little sister Katie are amazing artists and I sure as heck hope that Hunter got some of those genes. He enjoys it enough, that’s for sure.
Anyway, all in all it was a great trip. I love visiting my family and so do my kids. They love Grandma and Boppa.

Love the pictures Bri. Only one prolem. No mention of spending the night at Grandma's house or any pictures of Mom or Grandma.
You always have great pictures!! You're kids dynamic is very much like mine. Sterling is fabulous with Jonah, patient, caring, willing to give him just about whatever Jonah wants, and then there's the Hyrum/Jonah situation. Seriously, they mostly just battle. And Jonah is usually the instigator!! Fun stuff. You are a crazy busy lady, that's for sure. How do you do it???
Love the picture of Daddy with the puzzle pieces and of his "Grandma Swallow" face...miss you crazy people!
