I HAVE TO BE HAVING A GIRL!!

I know, I know, it's been forever. It's the life of a puking mother.....what can I say? So.....updates. I have an ultrasound on October 7th and they should be able to tell the sex of the baby. I really think it's a boy, but haven't given up hope for a little girl. Hunter and Tanner are both 100% boy and frankly, I just NEED a girl. My Mom has informed me that this will do me no good, since I basically behaved worse than her boys anyway, but again, I'm hopeful.:) Everybody can have miracles happen, right? I'll get a girl and she won't be a beastly tom-boy like me. Actually, let me rephrase that. Tom-boy is fine, I can't handle frills.....as a matter of fact, I wouldn't know what to do with a prissy girl.....but I just need her to be an angel too. I'll let you know.

So, as for my boys, there are no words. I think Kyle has brainwashed them. Example: Saturday evening we went into the Tri-cities with Kyle. He had to transport fish from this portable kids' fishing pond at a fishing derby to Columbia Park Pond for work. I took the boys to see the fish in the glass pond before they moved them and thought they'd die from excitement. Tanner was convulsing, squealing, and diving for the fish. I thought we'd be safe if I kept them in the cab of Kyle's truck while they netted the fish and put them in his tank, but I'm an idiot. I had the window about halfway down......you know, it's a hatchery truck so circulation is necessary. Tanner repeatedly tried to climb out the window to dive into the pond all the while yelling, "DAD-DY!" Hunter on the other hand is yelling out, "KYLE! Look at all those fish!" The National Guard had something to do with the event and so one of them came up to the boys and asked them if they liked fish. Emphatic shakes of the head in the affirmative was the result. The guy laughed and asked what kind of fish they were. "Um, I think trout," says Hunter. When asked if they catch fish, "Yes, and they're this tall!" Hunter says while reaching his hand as high in the air as he could. The guy thought they were so cute he took their picture. But, do you know what I was thinking? It was more of an, "Oh my! My children are exactly like Kyle. What am I going to do?" This is the man who sprays synthetic elk urine on himself when he goes hunting and then plops down on my couch with no hesitation (and yes, thank goodness my couch covers are washable). It's the same man who thinks showering after working at a fish hatchery.....or a dairy for that matter....is unnecessary. So, let me state this one more time, I NEED A GIRL! I HAVE TO HAVE A GIRL! I know you're all laughing to yourself at the likelihood of that not happening, but you could at least humor me for awhile.....at least until the 7th.

Hahahahahaha. I worked with dung beetles for a summer making beautiful cow pie homes for them and collecting building materials. Zach didn't hesitate to tellme I needed a shower when I came home. I would come n kiss him and he would tell me I stunk. Thanks honey, love you too! Kyle and I should be friends.

Ditto with Kim... HA HA!!!
(But i'm hoping for a girl next too. I can handle frills, as long as that doesn't include Barbies! No barbies! Or Princess stuff either.)

Bri, I hope you have a girl and she's as fun and out going, crazy and funny as you are.
I can't wait to know if it's two girls though.....=)

I really hope that you do have a girl!! Little girls are so much fun, but I'm biased because I only have one girl :) You just really need a girl... real bad :)

I really didn't know that Kyle sprayed urine on himself... that's just... hmm... no words.

And Kyle probably has brainwashed your kids :) If you do have a girl, protect her at all costs!! Or even if you have another boy, protect him!! You have to at least have one kid who isn't obsessed with Jeeps, 4 wheelers, fishing & hunting.

Hmmmm...why doesn't anything in this blog surprise me about Kyle? It's what makes him, well, Kyle, so I'm not at all surprised your two boys are so much like him. All that's missing is you telling me that your bedroom is entirely decorated with camouflage, something Kyle DID mention he wanted when he saw it in a catalog in Ruidoso... ;)

Oh Jon, he DID try to make me decorate our room in camoflauge, but I drew the line. It is a sage green color, so no pink or anything, but no camo either. Every now and then he points the camo bedding out to me, like maybe I've had a change of heart, but trust me, I haven't.:)

He Breezy you can't blame the fishing all on Kyle after all you have been a fishing nut eve since Grandpa taught you how. You take after the women in this family. I've been hunting but I've never heard of getting elk that way.

PS Bri. How long have I been telling you it would be a girl? Can't believe you don't remember that.

I hope you have a girl too! But even if you don't, and if you are fortunate to make it through until they are all out of the house with out entering into some mental institution you will at least have the BEST stories to tell.

Bri-
I'm just thinking we switched...like I thought I was having a girl (WRONG) and you think you are having a boy, but secretly it's a girl (wrong again)...see, same same...it could be like a sisterly bonding moment or something! Hope are just feeling so so good today-love ya!
